{"id":504,"date":"2026-06-04T13:53:36","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T10:53:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usmas-muiza.majaslapabiznesam.lv\/rules\/"},"modified":"2026-06-04T13:53:36","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T10:53:36","slug":"rules","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/usmasmuiza.lv\/en\/rules\/","title":{"rendered":"Rules"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dear guests,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To ensure you have a pleasant stay, we have prepared the Usma Manor House rules and regulations for the hotel and spa area for your convenience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rules and Regulations for the Hotel and Spa Area.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check-in\/check-out:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check-in time from 16:00  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check-out time is by 11:00<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The minimum age for registration is 18.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Children and young people under the age of 18 may stay at the hotel only if accompanied by their parents or other authorized persons.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When registering, you must present a valid form of identification, such as a passport or ID card.  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Children:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Children under 2 years of age stay for free if no extra bed is used.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A crib is available for an additional fee of 10 EUR per night.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  The fee for an extra bed and breakfast for children aged 2\u201312 is 10 EUR per night.  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Night&#8217;s rest:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is prohibited to disturb other guests with loud or inappropriate behavior. The hotel has designated quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Guests who fail to observe the quiet hours may be asked to leave the hotel without a refund of the reservation fee.  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Safety rules:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do not give your room key to third parties.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Please return your room key to the front desk or bar when you check out.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fee applicable in the event of lost keys: 30 EUR  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hotel&#8217;s main entrance is closed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Access is via an electronic key card.    <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For safety reasons, third parties are not permitted in guest rooms without prior approval from a staff member.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Do not move the furniture without permission, and do not light candles.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please do not damage hotel property. If you notice any damage to the room\u2019s furnishings upon arrival, please report it to the hotel administration to avoid any misunderstandings. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For damage caused by the guest, a fee will be charged based on the extent of the damage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hotel staff have the right to refuse service to guests who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In such cases, no refunds will be issued for reserved and paid-for services. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hotel is not responsible for guests&#8217; belongings left unattended.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pets:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pets are not allowed in the hotel building. The fine for bringing a pet without permission is 100 EUR.   <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any exceptions must be coordinated with the administration prior to arrival.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Payment terms:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can pay for hotel services in cash (EUR), by bank transfer, with a credit card, or with a gift card.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Payment must be made no later than at the time of check-in at the hotel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The reservation fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, unless requested by the customer.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Smoking:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Smoking is prohibited in guest rooms and in public and spa areas. The penalty for violating this rule is 100 EUR. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is a designated smoking area in the hotel courtyard.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cleaning:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are committed to the responsible use of water and energy resources<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rooms are cleaned between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. If you would like your room to be cleaned during this time, please hang the \u201cPlease Clean Room\u201d sign on the outside door handle by  14:00.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On days when the corresponding sign is not displayed, the street will not be cleaned.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Room service:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Food and drinks can be ordered by phone up to one hour before the restaurant closes.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Room service charge: 4.50 EUR  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Restaurant\/bar hours:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sunday\u2013Thursday: Restaurant 12:00 PM\u20139:00 PM \/ Bar 12:00 PM\u20139:00 PM  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday\u2013Saturday: Restaurant 12:00 PM\u201310:00 PM \/ Bar 12:00 PM\u201310:00 PM  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Breakfast:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the restaurant dining room from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (other times by prior arrangement with the receptionist) <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other provisions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is not permitted to remove towels from the hotel rooms.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beachwear is not permitted inside the hotel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>SPA Area Rules and Regulations<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The customer is required to:  <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please observe the Usma Manor rules and regulations, and be courteous to other guests and the staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Keep track of your health on your own.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Stop using the service immediately if you experience severe pain, dizziness, or discomfort during the service, and seek assistance from the staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Refrain from any action that could endanger your own life or health or that of others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Comply with the requirements for service staff to ensure internal order.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notify the maintenance staff of any damage to equipment or inventory.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avoid touching the sauna heating elements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Temperatures in the sauna room can reach up to 95\u00b0C.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parents or other guardians should not leave children under the age of 16 unattended.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wear swimsuits in all public areas.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please wear a robe when going to treatments or the spa area.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Compensate the company for the damage caused to its property.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The customer is prohibited from:  <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do not visit the spa if you have contagious skin, hair, or nail conditions, or open wounds.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Damage or treat the furnishings, equipment, and premises at the service location with disregard.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Use honey, coffee grounds, and other body scrubs in the sauna or steam room.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entering the spa area (saunas, pool, jacuzzi) or receiving massage and spa treatments while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicating substances.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Behave aggressively, inappropriately, or loudly; harass or otherwise disturb other customers and staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Swimming in the pool, hot tub.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Bringing in outside food and beverages, as well as glass containers and utensils. The fine for violating this rule is 200 EUR. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Spitting on the floor and in water, relieving oneself outside of restrooms.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is prohibited to disturb other guests with loud behavior or conduct that is inconsistent with social norms.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You are not permitted to re-enter the SPA area after leaving without first taking a shower.  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company has the right to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SPA treatments are available only if a reservation has been made in advance and confirmation has been received.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Shorten the duration of the procedure or cancel it if the start time has been missed.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unused services from the SPA package deals will not be refunded or offered for use at a later time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Cancel or reschedule treatments in a timely manner (72 hours before your appointment).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A guest who fails to comply with these rules, posted warning signs, notices, or instructions from staff may be immediately removed from the premises without a refund of the reservation fee.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company assumes no liability for damage, loss, accidents, or injuries resulting from other causes arising from the customer\u2019s negligence, lack of due care, carelessness, or failure to comply with these terms and conditions, including failure to follow the instructions of service personnel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any employee of Usma Manor has the right to instruct a guest regarding compliance with these rules, and the guest must follow these instructions.  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear guests, To ensure you have a pleasant stay, we have prepared the Usma Manor House rules and regulations for the hotel and spa area for your convenience.
